The Azerbaijan Mission to NATO held a meeting with participants from nine countries in the NATO familiarization program, the mission reported on X.

Head of Mission Jafar Huseynzada and Azerbaijan's Military Representative to NATO, Colonel Ramil Hasanov, received delegates from Algeria, Egypt, Colombia, Georgia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine, The Caspian Post reports, citing Report.

"Within the framework of the visit to the Mission, participants were briefed with a presentation sharing Azerbaijan's experiences on the practical aspects of partnership with NATO," reads the post.

The NATO familiarization program is held twice a year and provides participants with a general understanding of the alliance's activities and cooperation programs.
