Pursuant to the 2026 training plan approved by the Azerbaijan Minister of Defense, proficiency level assessment examinations are being conducted across the Azerbaijan Army to determine the professional qualification levels of military personnel, according to the Defense Ministry.

During the examinations, service members are evaluated on their specialty proficiency, physical fitness, other theoretical knowledge, and practical skills related to their military duties.

The primary objective of these examinations is to enhance the professionalism of personnel, evaluate knowledge and skills of military service members, and further improve the overall level of combat readiness.
