Russia’s Embassy in Iran has denied reports that diplomatic staff and Russian specialists working at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant are preparing to leave the country.

“Neither the embassy staff nor the Russian specialists at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant are planning to evacuate. Work continues as normal,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement published on its official Telegram channel.

The embassy described the circulating reports as disinformation, adding that the source of the claims was well known.

The diplomatic mission also urged users to unsubscribe from news channels publishing what it called false information.
