On December 13, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zheenbek Kulubaev received UK Ambassador Nicholas Bowler.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of working together within the framework of the recently provided funding to Kyrgyzstan by the British Government for development and business projects in the amount of £1.8 billion through the United Kingdom Export Finance (UKEF) in the field of agriculture, mining, construction and other areas at competitive rates, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition, views were exchanged on other pressing issues on the Kyrgyz-British agenda, such as cooperation in the field of ecology, climate, migration and critical minerals.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together to maintain high-level political contacts and hold investment forums in both Kyrgyzstan and the UK.
