Turkish President, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Regional Security, Gaza Peace

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday to discuss regional security, bilateral relations and the Gaza Peace Plan.

In a statement, the Turkish Communications Directorate said that Erdogan expressed Türkiye's sorrow over the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, The Caspian Post reports.

The Turkish president reiterated that Ankara remains committed to efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and strengthening stability and security across the region.

Erdogan also emphasized that Israel's full implementation of the roadmap for the second phase of the Gaza Peace Plan is crucial to the plan's success.

"We are closely monitoring the developments," Erdogan said, according to the statement.
