Overnight Russian and Ukrainian strikes killed three people and injured three others, officials on both sides said, as attacks damaged infrastructure and residential areas.
Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service said a Russian drone strike damaged infrastructure at the Vinogradovka international automobile checkpoint in Odesa Region, near the Moldovan border. Operations at the crossing were suspended following the attack, Anadolu Agency reports.
“The Moldovan side has been notified of this,” the service said, adding that emergency crews had extinguished the resulting fire.
In Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, Russian missiles struck an industrial zone in the Osnovyanskyi district, killing one person, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said.
In Kyiv, falling drone debris damaged a 16-story residential building and injured one person, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
Meanwhile, Russian authorities reported casualties from Ukrainian drone attacks in the Krasnodar region. Regional Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said debris fell on Afipskaya railway station, killing two people and injuring two others.
