Armenia Faces Temporary Gas Suspension as Transit Pipeline Undergoes Repairs

Gazprom Armenia company has announced that gas deliveries to Armenia will be temporarily suspended due to emergency repair work on a transit pipeline in Georgia.

The company stated that the maintenance work will take place on the Krasny Most-Sevkar-Berd transit main pipeline, resulting in a 24-hour halt in gas supplies starting at 06:00 (GMT+4) on August 22, The Caspian Post reports via Gazprom Armenia.

Officials assured that domestic gas consumers will continue to have access to gas through existing internal reserves, as well as additional imports from Iran, ensuring uninterrupted supply during the repair period.
