Armenian Restaurant Chain to Open New Outlet at California Airport

Armenian-owned restaurant chain Massis Kabob is set to open its eighth location at the new terminal of Hollywood Burbank Airport in California.

The new outlet will be the first restaurant at a US airport owned by entrepreneurs of Armenian origin, according to Armenia Today.

The opening will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the family business, which was founded in 1976 by Hacop “Jack” Baghdassarian.

The company is now run by his sons, Peter and Gevik Baghdassarian, who continue to oversee the family’s restaurant business.
