Armenian pro-government MP Sarkis Khandanyan said the future TRIPP gas pipeline could become a new source of natural gas for Armenia amid a possible revision of Gazprom’s gas agreement with the country, Pravda Armenia reported.

Armenia will discuss the issue in a friendly manner with its Russian partners... But there is another possibility to have an additional gas source for us under the TRIPP project. Although, of course, this is a very theoretical idea, but in practice it is not difficult to implement, Khandanyan said, without also ruling out the scenario of direct gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
