Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met in Yerevan on Tuesday with Abraham Hamadeh, a Republican U.S. congressman representing Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the consistent development of Armenia-U.S. relations, noting that ties between the two countries have recently gained momentum, the Prime Minister's Office said in a readout, Armenpress reported.
PM Pashinyan underscored the need to consistently advance the rich agenda of bilateral cooperation, expressing confidence that Armenia-U.S. ties will continue to expand in the political, economic, and technological spheres.
Congressman Hamadeh thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of further developing dialogue through parliamentary channels. He referred to the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, highlighting Prime Minister Pashinyan’s personal role and commitment to the process.
The sides exchanged views on regional developments, as well as issues related to the implementation of the TRIPP project.
