Azerbaijan Increases Diesel Fuel Exports to Armenia

Azerbaijan is scheduled to send another diesel fuel shipment to Armenia today, maintaining a series of direct energy deliveries between the two nation.

The latest delivery will include 16 rail wagons. The shipment follows ongoing exports that resumed after Azerbaijan lifted transit restrictions in October 2025, a decision announced by President Ilham Aliyev, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.

Direct fuel supplies from Azerbaijan to Armenia officially began on December 18, 2025. Since then, Azerbaijan has exported a total of 6,312 tons of diesel fuel, 979 tons of RON92 gasoline, and 2,955 tons of RON95 gasoline.

The most recent delivery prior to today took place on April 14, when a train carrying 22 wagons transported 1,298 tons of diesel fuel to Armenia.
