The price of Azerbaijan’s flagship Azeri Light crude oil (CIF) has climbed sharply on global markets, approaching the $105-per-barrel mark.
The price of one barrel of Azeri Light increased by $3.02, or 2.96%, reaching $104.98, according to Azertac.
The previous price stood at $101.96 per barrel, meaning Azerbaijan’s crude gained more than $3 in the latest trading session.
The latest market price is also significantly above the benchmark used in Azerbaijan’s state budget. For 2026, the average price of one barrel of Azeri Light in the state budget was set at $65.
