Azerbaijan’s SOCAR and Arthur D. Little Discuss Cooperation Prospects

On August 19, Rovshan Najaf, President of Azerbaijan’s State Oil Company (SOCAR), met with Michael Kruse, Managing Partner at the U.S.-based Arthur D. Little, Leader of Arthur D. Little's Global Energy and Utilities Practice.

During the meeting, Rovshan Najaf provided an overview of SOCAR’s diverse activity in the energy sector, as well as the strategic projects implemented by the company in Azerbaijan and abroad, The Caspian Post reports, citing SOCAR.

The sides also assessed various expertise in innovative management models, optimization of operations, and increasing competitiveness in energy industry.

The discussions further revolved around implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in industry, developing renewable energy sources, and other issues of mutual concern.
