Wizz Air has launched its first direct flight between Bratislava and Baku, expanding travel options between Azerbaijan and Central Europe.
The inaugural flight arrived in Baku on October 28, adding another European destination to the route network of Heydar Aliyev International Airport, according to Caliber.Az.
The new route provides travelers with an additional budget-friendly option for flying between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
During the winter season, Wizz Air will operate flights between Baku and Bratislava twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The direct flight from Baku to Bratislava takes approximately four hours and 30 minutes.
The launch is part of Heydar Aliyev International Airport’s efforts to expand its direct flight network, offer passengers a wider choice of destinations and fares, and strengthen Baku’s air connections with European cities.
Passengers can find detailed information about flight schedules, ticket prices, baggage allowances and additional services through Wizz Air’s official sales channels.
