Azerbaijan’s Trade with Central Asia Soars 58% to Over $1 Billion in 2025

Azerbaijani First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev has said that Azerbaijan saw a 58 per cent increase in trade with Central Asian nations in the first nine months of 2025, with total turnover exceeding $1 billion.

Aliyev made these remarks during the first meeting of trade and investment ministers of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

He emphasized Baku’s focus on expanding transport infrastructure to facilitate business and regional trade. “Along these corridors, investment and logistics hubs are emerging successfully, boosting the establishment of joint ventures. Developing transport infrastructure further will create new regional growth points,” he said.
