Azerbaijani FM Hails Former Georgian Counterpart’s Efforts to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on Monday had a phone conversation with his former Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili.

Minister Bayramov hailed Darchiashvili’s efforts to enhance high and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries during his tenure, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

He also acknowledged their joint efforts to expand cooperation on international platforms. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished Ilia Darchiashvili success in his future endeavors.

The conversation highlighted the strong ties of friendship and good neighborliness that unite Azerbaijan and Georgia, emphasizing their strategic partnership in political, economic, humanitarian, and other domains.
