Belarus and Kyrgyzstan Ink Export Credit Deal

During the Belarus-Kyrgyzstan intergovernmental commission meeting on trade and econ2omic cooperation, the development banks of both countries signed a basic agreement outlining the general terms for export loans, The Caspian Post reports citing BelTA.

The document envisages the creation of a comprehensive financial infrastructure to support domestic exports.

Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Sivak noted that Kyrgyzstan is an important trade and economic partner of Belarus in Central Asia. The bilateral relations are making good progress in all areas. 

A reminder, over the first nine months of 2024, the trade between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan grew by 14.1% year-on-year to approach $135 million.
