The European Commission is preparing to send a letter to Georgia, warning of a potential suspension of its visa-free travel to the EU.
While the Commission can issue the warning, the final decision must be made by EU member states through a qualified majority vote, The Caspian Post reports citing Georgia Today.
The news raises concerns over Georgia’s political direction, particularly after the adoption of the controversial ‘foreign agents’ law.
