Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Energy has announced plans to construct two floating solar power plants at Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), with a combined capacity of 612 megawatts.
The Cabinet of Ministers has signed an investment agreement with several foreign companies, with the project set to be completed in two phases over the next four years, The Caspian Post reports.
The investors involved in the project include Sonnenenergie, a.s., AB Progressio GmbH, LTI ReEnergy CleanTech Project Development UG, and two Kyrgyz companies — SES Toktogul OJSC and SES Toktogul KG.
