MFA Advises Kyrgyzstanis to Leave Syria Amid Ongoing Situation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to closely monitor the situation in the Syrian Arab Republic and urges Kyrgyz citizens currently in the country to exercise caution and take necessary precautions, The Caspian Post reports citing foreign media.

The Foreign Ministry noted that Kyrgyzstanis are advised to leave Syria until the situation stabilizes.

Recall, the regime of Bashar al-Assad fell in Syria on the night of December 8. The rebels seized power — state television, from where they immediately went live, the presidential palace. The militants also freed thousands of people from prisons, including all political prisoners. The army announced their capitulation. The ousted president left Syria.
