Iran Denies Sending Delegation to Oman for Talks

Iranian diplomats have denied reports claiming the country dispatched a delegation to Muscat for negotiations.

Referring to a report published by Reuters, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said that such news is not true, The Caspian Post reports, citing Iranian media.

Commenting on the same issue, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera that Iran has not sent any negotiating team to Muscat.

"I have not left Tehran as the head of a negotiating delegation and such reports are not true," he said.
