Iran has enhanced its targeting precision when attacking American positions in the conflict, with assistance from a Chinese spy satellite, The Caspian Post reports, citing The Financial Times.
The newspaper claims to have seen secret military documents from Iran that show the Iranian Revolutionary Guard seized control of an advanced Chinese surveillance satellite in late 2024, after it was launched into orbit by a Chinese company.
In March of this year, during the war with the US and Israel, the satellite was positioned to monitor US targets at military bases in Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. The satellite took images before and after Iranian attacks.
Coordinates and images show that it has also monitored a base in Djibouti, on the Red Sea, and an airport in Oman.
