A final decision on whether Iran will participate in peace talks with the United States in Pakistan has not yet been made, according to Iran's Foreign Ministry, The Caspian Post reports, citing Al Jazeera.
Both sides have issued mixed signals regarding the potential talks.
US President Donald Trump said, “I expect to be bombing,” while Iran’s parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that Tehran has “new cards on the battlefield” that have not yet been revealed.
No official confirmation has been given regarding Iran’s participation in the proposed negotiations.
