President Pezeshkian: Iran to Counter Sanctions With Forceful Response

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will respond decisively to any reinstatement of international sanctions, asserting that the country is fully capable of overcoming the consequences through what he called a “counterstrike” approach.

President Pezeshkian’s remarks came in reaction to a recent United Nations Security Council decision that preserves the legal framework for reimposing sanctions against Tehran, particularly in relation to its nuclear activities, The Caspian Post reports via Russian media.

“We will never surrender to excessive demands,” Pezeshkian said. “We have the power to change the situation.”
