A Man Climbed Onto the Arch of the Karaotkel Bridge in Astana

In Astana, a 32-year-old man who climbed onto the arch of the structure was removed from the Karaotkel bridge, The Caspian Post reports citing the Zakon.kz.

The incident happened in the afternoon, May 11. Rescuers had to lower the capital resident down.

"Today in the Saryarka district, rescuers from the operational rescue squad of the Department of Emergency Situations of the city of Astana carried out a successful operation to rescue a man born in 1993," the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.
