A delegation from Kazakhstan led by Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev has arrived in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on an official visit.
High-level meetings and negotiations are scheduled for March 31, focusing on strengthening the strategic partnership and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are among the closest in Central Asia, built on shared history, cultural ties, and geographic proximity.
Economic collaboration is a key pillar, with Uzbekistan being one of Kazakhstan’s largest regional trading partners. The two countries actively develop cross-border trade, transport corridors, and energy cooperation, aiming to boost trade turnover and regional connectivity.
