Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan Team Up for Sandwich Panel Plant

Kazakhstan is set to open a new sandwich panel manufacturing facility in partnership with Russia and Kyrgyzstan, marking a fresh step in regional industrial cooperation.

The project in the Almaty region is currently under review by the Eurasian Economic Commission, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Kazakh Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin said that 5 out of 15 submitted projects have already been approved, highlighting growing momentum for joint initiatives within the Eurasian space.

The project focuses on upgrading an existing plant and strengthening industrial ties between enterprises in all three countries.

Key goals include:

Modernization of production facilities

Cooperation with Russian and Kyrgyz partners

Creation of at least 30 new jobs

Expansion of manufacturing capacity

Once approved, the project is expected to enhance construction material production and deepen economic integration among the partners.
