Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić held a phone conversation on Monday.
Vučić congratulated Tokayev on the successful elections to the Qurultay, noting the high level of public support for the Kazakh president’s reform agenda, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Akorda press service.
Tokayev thanked the Serbian president for his congratulations and briefed him on the domestic political reforms currently underway in Kazakhstan, emphasizing the historic significance of the country’s sweeping political transformation.
The two leaders also discussed the current state of Kazakh-Serbian relations and prospects for their further development.
Both sides welcomed the steady momentum of the bilateral partnership and expressed mutual interest in strengthening business ties and advancing joint investment projects in the energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and digitalization sectors.
