Kazakhstan, US Discuss CPC Situation Ahead of G20 Summit

Kazakh Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which the two discussed the situation surrounding the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC).

During the call, the sides addressed attacks on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium's infrastructure, as well as current issues on the bilateral agenda within the framework of the expanded strategic partnership, The Caspian Post reports, citing the ministry.

They also discussed preparations for the upcoming visit of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the US to attend the G20 summit.

The ministry did not disclose any additional details.

The G20 summit is scheduled to take place in Miami, United States, on December 14-15, 2026.
