Moscow Open to Dialogue with Trump Administration, But No Expectation of Policy Shift

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov expressed Moscow"s willingness to engage in dialogue with US President-elect Donald Trump"s administration but emphasized that it does not expect any significant change in Washington's anti-Russian stance.

"Some nuances and clarifications will definitely be addressed, but we won"t see any radical moves, like Washington abandoning its anti-Russia policy. However, we are open to dialogue; the [Russian] president has repeatedly made this clear," the senior diplomat pointed out, The Caspian Post reports, citing Russian media.

Current Democratic US President Joe Biden will transfer power to Trump, a Republican, on January 20, 2025.
