A trilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the APEC summit in China remains possible, as all three sides are potentially ready for the meeting, but no final agreement or date has been reached, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“There is a potential readiness on the part of all three countries to hold it. None of the countries has said it is not interested. Therefore, we proceed from the understanding that the meeting could take place. However, there is no final agreement yet, nor has a time been definitively agreed upon,” Peskov said, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, coordination on the proposed meeting is still underway.

“Everything simply needs to be finalized,” he explained.
