A bionic robot modeled after an arapaima, a large tropical freshwater fish, has been unveiled at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
The robot uses specialized technology to move smoothly through the water with its tail and fins instead of a propeller, closely mimicking the natural movement of a fish, according to radiosputnik.
The underwater robot can also be equipped with cameras and sensors, allowing it to be used for inspecting water bodies and exploring underwater infrastructure.
