Ruling United Russia Leads Early Results in State Duma Election

The ruling United Russia party is leading the State Duma election with 57.86% of the vote, according to data from Russia’s Central Election Commission after 90.43% of ballots had been counted.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) is in second place with 13.84%, followed by the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) with 8.9%, The Caspian Post reports, citing TASS.

New People has received 7.94% of the vote, while A Just Russia has secured 4.95%, according to the preliminary results.
