At least 31 people were injured after a large-scale Russian attack struck Ukraine's capital Kyiv.
One child was among the wounded, while one person was confirmed dead, The Caspian Post reports via DW.
Rescue teams managed to save 27 people in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district as emergency crews continued searching for survivors trapped under the rubble of a damaged high-rise residential building.
Officials also reported fires involving five vehicles in the courtyard of another residential area following the strikes.
Emergency response and recovery operations are still ongoing in the Obolonskyi, Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts of the Ukrainian capital as authorities work to deal with the aftermath of the bombardment.
