Russia has showcased its latest aviation developments at the El Alamein International Airshow in Egypt, highlighting the export version of the Su-57 fighter jet and the upgraded Yak-130M trainer jet.
The United Aircraft Corporation released footage of a training flight involving the Su-57E, the export variant of Russia’s fifth-generation fighter jet. The aircraft is among the major premieres at this year’s international airshow.
According to the company, the modified fighter jet is designed to engage air, ground and maritime targets, including in environments affected by intense electronic interference.
Russia is also displaying the Yak-130M advanced trainer jet and light combat aircraft, which features upgraded onboard systems. The aircraft is designed to conduct strikes against targets during both day and night and in various weather conditions.
The El Alamein Airshow began on September 8 and will run through September 10, bringing together aviation and defense industry representatives from several countries.
