Russian Attacks Kill Two, Injure 10 in Ukraine’s Donetsk

At least two people have been killed and 10 others injured in Russian attacks in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.

Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said at least one person was killed and 10 injured in strikes on the Kramatorsk community. A 13-year-old girl was among the wounded, according to ASTRA.

Russian forces carried out four strikes on Yasnohirka early in the morning, Filashkin said. Emergency services are working at the scene, and the injured are receiving medical treatment. Authorities are still establishing the exact number of casualties and the extent of the damage.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service also reported one death following a Russian airstrike on Sloviansk.

The strike destroyed a private house, and rescuers recovered the body of its female owner from the rubble. Firefighters also extinguished fires at another house and three cars.
