Uzbekistan"s Permanent Population Surpasses 37.5 Million

As of December 9, 2024, Uzbekistan"s permanent population has reached 37,535,605 people, according to the country"s Statistics Agency.

The population consists of 18.6 million women and 18.9 million men, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

The population density of Uzbekistan, as of October 1, 2024, stands at 83.2 people per square kilometer. This marks an increase of 1.7 people per square kilometer compared to the same period in 2023, when the density was 81.5 people per square kilometer.
