Fly One Asia Launches Direct Yekaterinburg–Tashkent Flights

Uzbek airline Fly One Asia will begin operating direct flights from Yekaterinburg to Tashkent starting April 6.

The new route marks the airline’s first partnership with the Ural aviation hub, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

Flights will operate twice a week-on Mondays and Fridays at 20:00-using Airbus A320 aircraft. Ticket prices start at 12,000 rubles.

According to the airline, Tashkent will serve as a transit hub, making the route especially convenient for travelers heading to destinations that currently lack direct air links with Russia.

Beyond Yekaterinburg, Fly One Asia plans to launch 15 new routes from Tashkent to Russian cities starting in spring 2026. The schedule already includes four weekly flights to Moscow (Vnukovo), twice-weekly services to Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Samara, and Yekaterinburg, and a weekly flight to Novosibirsk. Flights to Saint Petersburg and Chelyabinsk are also in the pipeline.

The carrier is simultaneously expanding its international network. From Tashkent, passengers will be able to fly to Riga, Sharjah, Tel Aviv, Baku, and Chișinău.

Meanwhile, international connectivity from Yekaterinburg continues to grow. From February 21, an additional Saturday flight to Beijing will operate with a return on Sundays, followed by a Thursday service from April 2 with return flights on Fridays.

The expanded route map reflects rising passenger demand for international travel from Russia’s Ural capital and underscores Tashkent’s growing role as a regional aviation hub.
