Armenian and Egyptian Deputy FMs Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan met with his Egyptian counterpart Wael Hamed in Cairo, as reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

The deputy FMs “thoroughly discussed the progress in implementing the agreements reached during consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries in April of this year, emphasizing their readiness to cooperate in the fields of tourism, infrastructure, healthcare, and high technology,” the ministry said in a readout.

The parties also highlighted the importance of convening a session of the intergovernmental commission between Armenia and Egypt in the near future, which is expected to give new impetus to the developing bilateral relations.
