Armenian Prime Minister to Undertake Two-Day Working Visit to Russia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to depart for the Russian Federation on Thursday for a two-day working visit.

According to the press service of the Armenian government, Pashinyan will take part in an international conference dedicated to the protection of nature and the environment in the Altai Territory of the Russian Federation, The Caspian Post reports citing Armenian media.

Altai Territory is a federal subject of Russia, located in the southeast of Western Siberia. It borders Kazakhstan to the west and southwest, and the Republic of Altai, Kemerovo, and Novosibirsk regions to the east and north. The region is known for its diverse landscape, ranging from mountains to plains and steppes, and its continental climate. Barnaul is the administrative center of the territory.
