A serviceman has died in Armenia after sustaining a gunshot wound at a military training ground, The Caspian Post reports, citing Armenian media.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of April 14. The soldier, identified as 19-year-old N.A., died while being transported to a hospital in the capital, Yerevan.

Following the incident, authorities have opened a criminal case, and an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances and cause of the shooting.
