AZAL Baku-Mineralnye Vody Flight Returns After Receiving NOTAM

The captain of the Baku-Mineralnyye Vody flight J2-8717 of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) returned to Baku airspace immediately after takeoff and receiving a NOTAM (flight information) notification that the airspace over Makhachkala was closed, The Caspian Post reports citing AZAL .

The aircraft safely landed at Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 10:13 local time.
