Azerbaijan and Türkiye have signed a protocol following the 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum held in Baku.

Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and his Turkish counterpart Alparslan Bayraktar signed the document, according to Report.

During the forum, the two sides discussed ways to expand cooperation across key energy sectors, including hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, electricity markets, renewable energy, industry regulation and mining.

The discussions are part of ongoing efforts by Baku and Ankara to deepen their strategic energy partnership and develop new areas of cooperation.
