Azerbaijani Officers in Ukraine’s Police Awarded in Kyiv

At the initiative of the United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, a meeting was held in Kyiv with Azerbaijani officers serving in the National Police of Ukraine on July 4, Ukraine’s National Police Day, where they were awarded distinctions, according to Report informs.

The meeting was attended by employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine and representatives of the diaspora, The Caspian Post reports, citing Report.

UDAU Deputy Chairman Elshad Ibrahimov noted that the activities of Azerbaijanis serving in the police and other law enforcement agencies in Ukraine, which is experiencing war, deserve special attention.

Ibrahimov added that similar meetings will continue regularly at the places of service of Azerbaijanis working in the police and other government agencies in Ukraine's regions.

Professor Farhad Turan and others also spoke at the meeting, wishing the police officers success and congratulating them on their professional holiday.

Then, police officers Zeynal Nasirov, Farhad Niyazov, Agil Namazaov, Ali Zeynalov, Tural Amiraslanov, and Eshgin Tanriverdiyev were presented with awards by the UDAU. Other Azerbaijani police officers who were unable to attend the event due to work-related reasons and travel distance also received congratulations and awards.
