Azerbaijani, Spanish Ministers Explore New Horizons in Bilateral and EU Relations

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has had a phone talk with José Manuel Albares Bueno, Spain’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, during which they discussed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-Spain and Azerbaijan-EU relations.

Albares Bueno congratulated Bayramov on the progress made in normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia during the summit held on the occasion of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to the US, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

The sides emphasized the importance of cooperation in trade, economy, energy, tourism, humanitarian, and educational sectors.

The conversation also included an exchange of views on regional issues of mutual interest.
