Tokuo Furuya has been appointed Japan’s new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Japan Farid Talibov announced the appointment, according to Report.

Talibov congratulated his Japanese counterpart on the new assignment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.

“We agreed to work together to further strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and deepen cooperation in various fields,” Talibov said.
