The 23rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation has officially opened in Astrakhan, Russia, bringing together senior officials from both countries to discuss further strengthening bilateral economic ties.
Prior to the session, the Azerbaijani delegation paid tribute by laying flowers at the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the city, The Caspian Post informs via local media.
Key participants included Alexei Overchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia; Igor Babushkin, Governor of the Astrakhan Region; Rahman Mustafayev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Russia; and Mikhail Yevdokimov, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Discussions focused on expanding trade, investment, and other areas of economic collaboration between the two nations.
