Türkiye and Azerbaijan have signed defense contracts worth more than $500 million during ADEX 2026 in Baku.

Under the agreements, Azerbaijan is set to purchase 14 HÜRKUŞ-II trainer aircraft. The first deliveries are reportedly expected as early as this year, according to Clash Report.

The contracts also cover several major defense systems and technologies from leading Turkish companies.

The agreements include:

ASELSAN - a memorandum of understanding for the ALP-100 radar station;

BAYKAR - the supply of MIZRAK unmanned combat modules;

BAYKAR - the supply of the “Antidote” system;

ROKETSAN - the supply of the BARBAROS coastal defense system.

The deals were announced during ADEX 2026, Azerbaijan’s major international defense exhibition in Baku.
