Ugandan Officials Explore Azerbaijan’s Innovative “ASAN Service” Model

A Ugandan delegation, led by John Mulimba, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Affairs, visited the “ASAN Service” center in Baku to learn more about Azerbaijan’s innovative public service model.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the history and operations of “ASAN Service” centers, established under the initiative of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as on various projects in the field of social innovation, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

Officials noted that this administrative model has already been successfully implemented in over 30 countries worldwide. Discussions also focused on further expanding the service centers in Uganda based on the “ASAN Service” experience.

Expressing gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support, John Mulimba highlighted that public satisfaction in Uganda has significantly improved thanks to these centers. He also expressed interest in introducing the Mobile ASAN service in Uganda to further enhance citizens’ access to public services.

Currently, six service centers are operational in Uganda following the “ASAN Service” model.
