International Congress in Tashkent Concludes with Historic Declaration

Participants of the international congress “Spiritual Heritage and Enlightenment in Central Asia” have officially adopted the event’s final declaration, underscoring the importance of regional cooperation in preserving cultural and intellectual legacies.

The declaration highlights the need to strengthen collaboration among institutions, international organizations, and cultural figures from Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan, The Caspian Post informs via local media.

Reading the document, Shavkat Ayupov, head of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, stated:

"We call on states to unite their institutions, organizations, and efforts to safeguard shared values, foster mutual understanding, and build a space where knowledge and enlightenment serve as the foundation of peace, trust, and sustainable development."

The congress brought together leading scholars, cultural experts, and policymakers from across the region, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting cultural dialogue and advancing intellectual cooperation in Central Asia and beyond.
